PANews July 21, according to PRNewswire, Bitmine chairman Tom Lee said that, due to large-scale stock buybacks carried out during the same period, Bitmine’s recent ETH purchasing pace has slowed. However, since the launch of its ETH Treasury Strategy (Ethereum treasury strategy) on June 30, 2025, Bitmine has maintained a weekly cadence of buying ETH. In the past week, Bitmine repurchased about 5.5 million shares of common stock, at an average repurchase price of $15.6156 per share; this stock buyback will help increase shareholder value. In addition, the annualized yield generated over the past 7 days from Bitmine’s proprietary staking business was 2.67%. Going forward, it will continue to strengthen its digital asset treasury strategy by expanding the size of its ETH reserves and staking earnings.
