doubt is not the opposite

of faith.
certainty is.
certainty has no need
of trust — it already knows.
but faith is what you do
with your hands
while your mind
is still unsure.
thomas doubted,
and Jesus did not scold him.
He showed him
the wounds.
God is not afraid
of your questions.
He is only waiting
for you to bring them
to Him
