The OpenAI Pre-IPO subscription campaign is officially over, but this is the stage where the market becomes far more interesting. During the subscription period, investors competed for allocations. Now, the market will decide what those allocations are truly worth.

One number immediately stands out. The event attracted more than $260 million in subscriptions, while the final oversubscription ratio exceeded 1300%. That level of demand wasn't created by hype alone. It reflected the strong interest investors have in gaining early exposure to one of the world's leading AI companies before any potential public listing.

But demand during a subscription is only the beginning.

Once pre-market trading opens, price is no longer driven by expectations. It is driven by real buying, real selling, and real confidence. This is where every investor's strategy becomes different.

Some participants may choose to lock in profits as soon as trading begins. Others may prefer to hold, believing that OpenAI's long-term growth story is only getting started. The balance between these two groups will shape the next phase of the market.
