To be honest, I can’t hold spot—futures end up liquidating me. In plain terms, there’s just one issue: your position size matters even more than your mindset.


I used to keep telling myself, “This wave is definitely going to be steady,” but every time I get educated by volatility. Later, I changed it into something simple and human as my mantra: **“Before opening a position, think—if this trade goes to zero, can I still eat peacefully?”**
If you can accept it, stay in; if you can’t, don’t touch it.
Recently I’ve been seeing those new L1/L2 projects roll out incentives, and old users complain about “digging, extracting, and selling”—but it’s the same idea. Your profit expectations are too high, and the principal isn’t enough to last until final settlement.
Anyway, I’m increasingly convinced of that “slow is fast” approach. Confirm it with 10 bucks first, then think about the next step…
