Spain Have The Better Team. Argentina Have The Better Story. That's Why This Final Is Impossible To Predict.

Most people are calling this a battle between youth and experience.

I see something different.

This is a battle between a team trying to build a new dynasty and another trying to prove that champions never lose their identity.

Spain has probably been the most consistent team in this World Cup. Their possession, pressing, and movement without the ball have made them one of the hardest teams to play against. They don't rely on one superstar—they rely on a system where every player understands his role. That's why they have controlled so many matches from the first whistle.

Argentina, however, has taken a completely different path.

They haven't always looked dominant, but they've looked dangerous. This squad understands how to survive difficult moments, manage pressure, and punish even the smallest defensive mistake. That's not luck—that's experience built over years of playing the biggest matches in world football.

One of the biggest talking points before the final is Argentina's aging squad. I think that's only half the story. Yes, younger legs matter over 90 minutes, but calm decisions matter even more in a World Cup final. Finals are rarely won by the team that runs the most. They're usually won by the team that makes fewer mistakes.

For Spain, the biggest challenge isn't creating chances—it's turning long periods of possession into decisive goals. If they dominate the ball but fail to finish, Argentina will patiently wait for one transition, one through ball, or one moment of brilliance from Messi or Lautaro Martínez.

That, for me, is where this final will be decided.

If Spain scores first, their confidence and ball control could make the match very difficult for Argentina.

But if Argentina scores first, their experience in protecting a lead could become the difference between winning and losing.

I'm expecting a tactical final rather than an emotional one, where patience matters more than possession.

My Prediction: Argentina 2–1 Spain.

Not because Argentina has the stronger squad on paper, but because history has shown that when pressure reaches its highest level, experienced champions often find one more way to win.
