ME News, April 26 (UTC+8). Ciarán Fitzpatrick, global head of ETF product at JPMorgan Securities Services, said: “We believe tokenization will definitely drive changes in the market—not only for ETFs, but also for the entire fund industry.” Ciarán Fitzpatrick pointed out that, given that tokenization may bring many benefits, such as more convenient subscription and redemption, “near-instant settlement,” and uninterrupted access, the experiments with ETF tokenization are still ongoing. He added: “I think tokenization will become part of the ETF ecosystem, but it will take a few years for some genuinely good use cases to emerge.” (Source: ODAILY)
