ME News, July 17 (UTC+8): Bugle.News said that Foundry will decide whether to support the Bitcoin soft fork proposal BIP-110 through hashrate-weighted voting by mining pool account holders. The vote will be calculated using each account’s average hashrate over the past 10 days. If the support votes account for more than 51% of the hashrate participating in the vote, Foundry will send a support signal in all block production; if it does not exceed 51%, it will continue not to send a support signal, and accounts that do not vote will be deemed as opposition votes by default. BIP-110 aims to limit the storage size of non-currency data (such as OP_RETURN) in Bitcoin transactions. (Source: PANews)
