The best way to generate real income with AI in 2026 isn't building a product or SaaS.

If I'm being honest, those markets are just too competitive for the average person to break into.
But there's one AI income path almost anyone can start - and I'm extremely bullish on it:
Every entrepreneur I talk to wants to cut their headcount. Yet, most have no idea how.
Even my dad, who has been running a business for 15+ years, is still doing everything manually.
The person who can introduce and set up basic AI systems for real brick-and-mortar local businesses has a literal money printer in their hands.
There is almost no competition for this consulting-style in-person role, and since AI is early, nearly anyone can become an expert.
Here's the play:
1. Become the "AI person" for one type of business
Focus on one workflow for a specific type of industry.
i.e., become an expert in AI agents focused on follow-up outreach, reception agents for doctors' offices, etc.
The key here: Your moat is becoming an expert in one thing.
2. Target the right businesses
Skip big enterprises like Amazon or Google; they have their own internal AI systems.
Instead, pitch to local law firms, real estate offices, marketing agencies, accountants, and so on.
Show up in person, be presentable, and have your pitch ready (slide deck/presentation).
Ask for just 10 minutes of their time.
3. Charge in 3 stages
→ Audit fee: diagnose their problems
→ Solution fee: build and deploy the system
→ Retainer: maintain and update it long term
I truly believe this model is a massive opportunity for the hungry 16-25 y/o kid who has a crazy work ethic.
