To be honest, re-staking this thing has been getting hyped a bit too mysteriously lately. The returns look high, but essentially they still come from the LST’s own staking rewards and the consensus-layer rewards—there isn’t that much magic. As for the risks, smart contract vulnerabilities and liquidity getting locked up are the real killers. Don’t just look at someone else’s APR pitch and rush in. Anyway, I treat complexity as the enemy: first figure out where the money is coming from and when you can withdraw, then act. Lately I’ve heard that some place has increased taxes and tightened compliance. When I’ve swapped in and out, I’ve felt a jolt in my gut, worried about getting stuck.
