PANews July 17 — During the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, 360 founder Zhou Hongyi attended as a representative of a security company and said that AI is moving from the large-model stage to the agent stage. AI is no longer just a tool for answering questions; it is gradually developing the ability to independently carry out tasks. As agent applications accelerate and roll out, the associated security risks are also increasing. AI needs to adhere to a development direction that is safe, trustworthy, reliable, and controllable. Zhou Hongyi said that this year’s WAIC not only provides an important exchange platform for global AI development, but also further clarifies the direction and principles for AI development.
