I just saw an on-chain large transfer being screenshotted and shared everywhere, and everyone is saying, “Smart money just moved again.” I’ve actually followed a few addresses like this before. At first I thought I could copy their playbook, but later I realized that every time I followed their buys, I ended up stuck holding the bag. When I finally unfollowed, I felt relieved—plain and simple, the transfers behind it are part of someone else’s risk-control strategy. What we see is only the result. Forcing emotions onto it is no different from chasing pumps and selling the top/bottom.

When you’re itching to chase a breakout, ask yourself first: is this trade being guided by information, or is my emotion pushing me to act? My own experience is that if you wait five minutes, take a sip of water, and come back, most of the time you’ll calm down. Don’t treat your position like your self-esteem—no one is going to praise you for being early just because you saw a screenshot.
