In my own Web2 work, I came up with an idea to use Rust to rebuild the most important functions of an existing system. I ran the tests myself—the results were really impressive. I genuinely think this can be promoted and developed! But no one knows what I’m talking about, no one’s interested, and even very few people know Rust. Sometimes it’s really painful to try to explain things to people who just don’t get it—no, I can’t say “play to the bull”; it should be “playing music for those old dudes.”
