There is also a more sophisticated point: what truly matters are the local slopes, because they determine the statistical distribution of possible returns.

Those returns can then be projected forward from any chosen starting point, including the current price.
These models are not yet widely available, but this is the most rigorous and scientifically meaningful way to interpret the Bitcoin power law.
I'm going soon to show what this means in terms of predicting where the price goes in the next few months or years.
