A teleprompter operator is suspected of placing bets on Trump’s remarks on Kalshi, and the US CFTC is investigating
Kalshi enforcement director Robert DeNault said that after an internal investigation, the platform’s monitoring team quickly flagged the relevant transactions and referred them to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
DeNault said that Kalshi is assisting regulators with the investigation and has already submitted relevant evidence collected by the platform.
