The US has been rumored to spend up to $100 billion on the war against Iran.

BlockBeats News, July 16. According to U.S. sources reporting on July 15, an internal assessment document within the U.S. Department of Defense shows that the United States’ actual spending on military actions against Iran could be as high as $100 billion, far exceeding the approximately $30 billion previously disclosed by the U.S. government. It is understood that the reason for such a huge gap is mainly that earlier official estimates did not include undisclosed combat expenditures, losses of advanced fighter jets, and the severe damage costs incurred by U.S. military facilities in the Middle East.

U.S. Senator Angus King said Americans are very disappointed that they cannot find out the real cost of the war, “not to mention the additional costs the fighting brings to the public, such as higher gas prices.” (CCTV News)
