The first pool is for users with a certain balance of Contract Points. Users with a balance of around 100 points (the specific threshold will be gradually lowered) can redeem 10 GUSD with 15 points. The second pool has an even lower threshold: users with a balance of 40 points can redeem a 100 USDT position trial voucher for 20 points. The redemption window for both pools is from 10:00 AM to 3:59 PM on July 17th. Based on UTC time, rewards will be credited to your account within approximately one hour after successful redemption, either to your spot account or unified account.

It's worth noting that Contract Points are not earned through a single transaction. They are calculated based on an activity score derived from a combination of account assets and trading activity, calculated as the cumulative daily points over the past 15 days. If your account uses the unified account mode, regardless of whether it's single-currency margin, cross-currency margin, or combined margin, the system will calculate the asset value based on the USDT and BTC balances in your spot account and then assign points accordingly. In other words, points aren't something you can get by making a quick rush; your regular holdings and trading habits are the real key factors determining your points.

Before participating, please note the following: First, you must complete real-name authentication to receive rewards. Second, contract trading volume calculations do not include copy trading or bot trading. Mass registration of multiple accounts, malicious volume manipulation, and wash trading are strictly prohibited; if discovered, your eligibility for rewards will be immediately revoked. Furthermore, this event is completely unrelated to Apple Inc., as specifically stated by the official team.

For users who are already trading contracts on Gate, this airdrop doesn't require any additional action. The points they've accumulated are enough to qualify them to participate. The only thing to note is that the redemption window on the 17th is quite short, lasting five hours and fifty-nine minutes. It's recommended to set a reminder in advance and act as soon as the window opens, since the rules clearly state that both prize pools are first-come, first-served.
