Crypto News: Injective announced that it has become a core member of the x402 Foundation, driving the development of the AI agent economy. The protocol has launched an AI agent SDK that supports autonomous on-chain applications, and the network has already processed more than 2.9 billion transactions. Injective said developers can create AI agents that can own digital assets, execute trades, and perform on-chain transactions. This move marks Injective’s further expansion in the autonomous finance space, aiming to work with other technology and payments leaders to build open standards for internet-native payments. According to a research report by Coinpedia, the AI agent crypto market is expected to evolve into a $200 billion opportunity by 2030.

The X402 Foundation sounds quite ambitious—it wants to create an internet-native payments standard, plus AI agent autonomous decision-making. This combination is rather interesting.

From a technical perspective, 2.9 billion transactions have already proven the network’s capacity to handle load, and with AI capabilities added, the developer ecosystem could be set for a wave of growth.

This wave of Injective is moving into the AI agent track, with a very clear direction—the 2.9 billion transactions in volume show the underlying infrastructure is already working.

Injective’s move here is quite clever. The AI agent SDK lowers the development barrier, and it will likely attract many trading teams that want to build automated arbitrage or strategy systems.

The forecast of $200 billion sounds pretty tempting, but the key question is how many real, deployed scenarios are running right now; you can’t support it with concepts alone.

Can an AI agent hold assets and trade on its own? Isn’t that basically letting the code be the boss? It feels like on-chain finance in the future will be very different.
