Why is ETH suddenly stronger than BTC this round? How long can the independent trend last?
Recently, ETH’s performance has indeed been impressive, and the market has also shown a clear change—previously, when BTC moved, alts followed;
now, ETH is starting to move on its own rhythm, and even outperforms BTC in stages.
Why?
In a stronger market, you have to stay clear-headed.
After trading for 9 years, I prefer to look at structure first, then emotion.
From the daily chart, ETH previously retreated from around 2400 all the way down, with the lowest wick around 1500, then it began to rebound.
Currently, the price is above 1900, and the short-term has already moved out of the bottom zone.
Why is ETH strong this time?
First, capital rotation has started.
After BTC absorbed a large amount of capital and moved into consolidation earlier, some funds began to search for undervalued assets with high upside elasticity. ETH naturally became a target for the capital switch.
Second, the market is refocusing on ETH’s own value.
Recently, ETH-related fund flows have improved. Discussions among institutions about allocating to Ethereum assets have heated up, which also strengthens market expectations.
However, the rebound is not a reversal—position determines risk.
The key daily-level positions for ETH are:
First resistance: 2000-2050
This is the psychological level, and also a dense consolidation zone from the earlier period.
If it breaks out with volume and holds above 2050, the next target would be:
2200-2250
This area is an important resistance from the earlier down move.
Stronger resistance:
2350-2400
Only if ETH breaks back above here can the ETH daily trend be considered to have truly completed a trend reversal.
Below support:
1850-1880
This is the short-term bulls’ defense area.
If it breaks below 1850, the market may revisit:
1750-1780
Ye Shifu’s take:
ETH right now looks more like a bottom repair plus a stage rally driven by capital inflows.
There’s still room for short-term upside, but the closer it gets to above 2000, the more you need to guard against profit-taking liquidation.
Don’t start chasing crazily just because it’s been up for a few days, and don’t deny the trend just because of one pullback.
Real trading isn’t about guessing the direction every time; it’s about daring to execute when opportunities appear, and knowing how to protect yourself when risks come.
Trend is king, discipline comes first.
Unity of knowledge and action is what lets you get through every market cycle. $ETH #ETH
