The real cost of the U.S.-Iran war is reportedly as high as $1 trillion

ME News update: On July 16 (UTC+8), reports from the U.S. say that the actual spending by the U.S. on military action against Iran could be as high as $100 billion, far exceeding the $31 billion amount announced by the U.S. government. The reports say that an internal assessment by the U.S. Department of Defense indicates that the U.S.’s actual spending on military action against Iran is between $80 billion and $100 billion. There is a large discrepancy from the amounts previously released by the government, mainly because the earlier estimates did not cover undisclosed combat expenditures, losses of advanced fighter jets, and severe damage suffered by U.S. military facilities in the Middle East. Even the cost of rebuilding just one U.S. military base that was targeted by Iran could exceed $30 billion. (CCTV News) (Source: ODAILY)
