China’s first water-wind-solar integrated smart operations model is released, extending basin inflow forecasting from more than ten days to 60 days

ME AI News: China’s first water–wind–solar integrated intelligent operations large model was released in the Sichuan Yalong River Basin. It was launched by the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) Yalong River Company. The model connects the entire workflow from meteorological, hydrological, wind–solar resource forecasting to power operation decision-making, becoming the “smart brain” for a clean energy base in the multi–ten-million kilowatt scale. By integrating multi-source data such as satellite remote sensing, ground meteorological stations, and basin hydrology, it achieves a comprehensive leap in forecasting accuracy. (Source: MLion)
