I haven't had very many great trades the last month; or many trades at all, really.

I stopped intra-day trading almost completely (that has always been my strength).
Also the market has been pretty choppy. I prefer trending markets - not so much ranging.
But here's the positive:
Years ago I'd have just forced a bunch of trades to get action and lost a bunch of money; which is what I suspect most people do when markets are boring and they feel like they need to always be seeing heavy action.
I've been patient, reduced screen time, took fewer trades and watched my portfolio chop back and forth in a tight range with a couple wins here and there and some losses.
Eventually we will come to conditions or I will find A+ set ups to capitalize on that will boost my portfolio. For now I just and wait.
I don't need to change my strategies up and I don't need to force things that aren't there.
Sometimes you just have to do nothing and most don't know how to do that.
