Gate's June Transparency Report Shows More Than Growth—It Shows a Platform Building for the Next Phase of Global Crypto

The June 2026 Transparency Report isn't simply a monthly update. It provides a detailed look at how Gate is expanding across security, liquidity, traditional finance, institutional participation, compliance, and ecosystem development at the same time. While many exchanges focus on one area of growth, Gate's latest report suggests a broader strategy aimed at becoming a complete global digital asset platform.

Reserves Continue to Strengthen User Confidence

One of the biggest highlights is Gate's $8.18 billion in total reserves, backed by a 115% reserve ratio. This means user assets remain fully covered with an additional $1.11 billion in surplus reserves.

Even more important, major assets including BTC, ETH, and GUSD all maintain reserve ratios comfortably above the industry's 100% benchmark. At a time when transparency remains one of the crypto industry's biggest priorities, maintaining strong proof of reserves helps strengthen user confidence and demonstrates responsible risk management.

Spot Trading Growth Outpaced the Industry

Trading activity accelerated significantly during June.

Gate's spot trading volume reached $66.1 billion, representing an impressive 50.8% month-over-month increase, making it one of the fastest-growing major centralized exchanges during the month. Market share also expanded to 5.95%, showing that more traders continue choosing the platform despite intense competition.

The report also highlighted independent industry recognition. CoinDesk reported that Gate recorded the highest spot trading growth rate among major centralized exchanges during June, while CryptoQuant ranked Gate first in institutional average trade size across both Bitcoin and Ethereum spot and perpetual markets. Large average trade sizes often indicate increasing participation from professional and institutional investors.

Derivatives Business Continues Expanding

Gate's derivatives market also delivered strong performance.

Monthly derivatives trading volume climbed to $369 billion, while its open interest market share reached 10.8%, placing Gate among the world's leading derivatives exchanges.

Growing derivatives participation usually reflects improving market liquidity, stronger institutional engagement, and greater confidence from active traders seeking advanced trading products.

Traditional Finance Integration Is Accelerating

Perhaps the most significant strategic development was Gate's continued expansion into traditional financial markets.

During June, the platform launched real stock trading covering major global exchanges including the NYSE, Nasdaq, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Korea Exchange. Investors can access fractional shares starting from 0.01, lowering the barrier for global equity investing.

Gate also introduced 24/7 trading on selected assets, helping bridge the gap between traditional financial markets and the always-open cryptocurrency economy.

This expansion represents an important step toward creating a single platform where users can manage both digital assets and traditional investments.

IPO Access Opens New Investment Opportunities

Gate also completed another important milestone through its Direct IPO Access initiative.

Following its earlier Pre-IPO offerings, the platform successfully completed its first full investment cycle with the SpaceX project, allowing eligible users to participate from the private investment stage through secondary market trading.

This demonstrates Gate's ambition to provide retail investors with broader access to investment opportunities that have historically been available primarily to institutional or high-net-worth participants.

Gate Wealth Broadens the Investment Ecosystem

Another major announcement was the official launch of Gate Wealth.

Rather than focusing only on cryptocurrencies, Gate Wealth combines multiple investment products into one ecosystem, including:

Digital assets

Stocks

ETFs

Foreign exchange

Commodities

Structured investment products

Primary market opportunities

This diversified approach gives investors greater flexibility to manage portfolios across multiple asset classes without relying on several different financial platforms.

Ecosystem Growth Remained Strong Across Multiple Products

The report also highlighted impressive growth across Gate's broader ecosystem.

Prediction market monthly trading volume reached approximately $280 million, representing growth of more than 145% month-over-month while maintaining the leading position among Polymarket channels.

ETF trading volume approached $20 billion across 356 trading pairs, reflecting rising demand for diversified crypto investment products.

Meanwhile, CFD copy trading continued expanding, with average daily trading volume increasing 29% compared with the previous month.

On-chain services also performed well. Total value locked within Gate's Earn ecosystem reached $1.154 billion, with Ethereum deposits reaching record highs as more users sought passive income opportunities.

Gate Layer maintained steady network growth as well, processing more than 43.8 million transactions during June, representing another 9% monthly increase.

Together, these figures suggest that user activity is expanding across both centralized and decentralized services rather than relying on a single business segment.

Global Compliance Continues Expanding

Regulatory progress remains another major competitive advantage.

Gate now holds regulatory approvals and registrations across several important global jurisdictions, including:

MiCA licensing in Europe

VARA licensing in Dubai

FSA licensing in Japan

Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs) across 47 U.S. jurisdictions

AUSTRAC registration in Australia

Building this global compliance framework strengthens Gate's ability to serve users across multiple regions while adapting to increasingly strict regulatory standards.

Why This Report Matters

The June Transparency Report shows that Gate's growth is no longer limited to higher trading volumes alone.

The exchange is simultaneously strengthening reserve transparency, attracting institutional participation, expanding into traditional financial markets, developing multi-asset investment services, growing its blockchain ecosystem, and securing regulatory approvals across major global jurisdictions.

For users, these developments suggest a platform that is investing not only in short-term growth but also in building long-term infrastructure capable of supporting the next phase of digital asset adoption.

As competition among global exchanges continues to intensify, Gate's strategy of combining security, compliance, innovation, and diversified financial services could become one of its strongest competitive advantages in the years ahead.
