According to Bianjie News, Starknet has launched a Privacy SDK and a Privacy Wallet API for developers, allowing wallets or applications to integrate privacy capabilities. The Privacy SDK is a TypeScript client for wallets and integrators. The Privacy Wallet API is designed for DApps and supports calling shielding, transfers, unshielding, and swapping functions. Starknet’s privacy token standard STRK20 supports converting ERC-20 tokens into assets with private transfer functionality, with on-chain verification achieved through zero-knowledge Stark proofs. Currently, projects such as Avnu, Troves, ForgeYields, Ready, Xverse, and Ekubo are building based on this privacy stack.

The TypeScript client has received good reviews, but the integration complexity on the wallet side still depends on the actual documentation—wait for a developer’s feedback.

STRK20 is an interesting standard—ERC-20 just turns into a privacy token, and ZK-Stark proofs are much better than zk-SNARK.
