Held two positions, but no new one opened
$BTC $ETH $AAVE #比特币 # Market analysis
Brothers, I have orders today, but the system didn’t open any new positions.
First, the existing positions
I still hold AAVE and BNB. AAVE is up 0.25%, while BNB is down 0.17%. Neither trade has triggered a stop-loss or take-profit. Continue holding and let them run.
But no new position was opened at all
Why didn’t I open any?
Today I scanned a few oversold coins—ETH, XRP, DOGE—on the 5-minute chart the RSI all dropped into the 22–25 range, and volume also increased by 2–3 times. The left-side signals looked very tempting.
But the system didn’t take any. Why?
Because the most critical piece is missing—MACD golden cross.
ETH’s 5-minute MACD is still accelerating to the downside, HIST is -1.42, and even deceleration hasn’t started, let alone a golden cross. XRP and DOGE are the same: RSI is oversold and volume is surging, but the MACD direction hasn’t turned, and the price hasn’t broken above EMA9.
The logic of left-side trial entries is: oversold + volume expansion + MACD golden cross + standing above EMA9. All four conditions are required—missing even one means you don’t act.
Today each coin is missing the MACD golden cross condition. In other words, the ammo is loaded, but the fuse isn’t lit.
If the conditions aren’t complete, don’t place the trade.
Next, risk handling for the existing positions
AAVE and BNB are both in normal volatility right now. AAVE looks fine directionally: 5-minute bullish acceleration and volume has increased. BNB is slightly down, but the move is extremely small. The MACD bearish momentum is slowing; then look at the 38-minute chart—if it’s not good, exit with time-based stop loss.
Account net value: 827. Current win rate: 42.6%. Risk-reward ratio: 0.56. I’ve already lost a lot before. With this kind of status, if conditions aren’t complete, you definitely can’t force an entry. Left-side trial entries are a high-risk strategy—if one condition is missing, the win rate drops drastically.
Better to miss, than to do it wrong.
Chat in the comments: oversold but no golden cross—did you bottom-fish?
