This dump didn’t come out of nowhere—$LTC has been grinding at the high for so long. Today, the shorts finally carved out the room. A lot of people saw it holding sideways and thought it could still push higher. I, on the other hand, was more cautious. What really caught my attention was that several attempts from above failed to establish a valid hold: every time it surged up, it was immediately pushed back. The rhythm was already off.

I entered a long position around 53.67. I wasn’t chasing just because I saw a drop; I waited for the rebound to show weakness and then looked for confirmation. Now the price is at 45.27, and this unrealized profit is already at +1110.53%. The room in the market has been released pretty decisively.

The key is this: a strong trend won’t keep propping itself up forever. If the bid side can’t keep it up, then any pullback will turn into consecutive moves. Brothers with positions, don’t get too carried away. Splitting with an 80/20 approach feels better—lock in part of the profits first, then keep the rest with a good protective level and continue watching for further extension.

If you didn’t catch it, don’t chase a short, and don’t chase a trade. Wait for the next more comfortable entry point.
