ME News: On July 15 (UTC+8), the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on July 13 added multiple cryptocurrency addresses to its sanctions list, targeting organizations associated with the Cuban regime. The sanctioned addresses involve the Tron, Dogecoin, Solana, Dash, Zcash, and Litecoin networks, and also include Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses. The sanctions also target entities related to multiple state-owned enterprises, including the Cuban Revolutionary Fighters Association and the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, and froze accounts controlled by Ukrainian citizen Dmytro Rashevskyi and Belarusian citizen Yevgeniy Vladimirovich Silayev, accusing them of operating virtual instruments and causing harm to the United States.
