This time I did it the opposite of what the general crowd feels. The more I pretended to be strong at the front, the more I felt it was dangerous—because a truly strong market wouldn’t keep grinding at key levels like that all the time, and when it does surge up, nobody comes in to take it. A lot of people hesitated whether to chase it; at the time I only wanted to wait for it to show a flaw.

Around 1.0341 is the spot I watched most closely. After the price reached there, there was no clean breakout—instead, the rebounds got shorter and shorter, and the follow-through got weaker and weaker. Something was off here. The contrarian warning sign is that on the surface it hasn’t had a big drop yet, but the short-side rhythm has already started to show.

Now SUI has pulled back to around 0.7523. The short position is up +1312.34% on paper, and the room for volatility has opened—this is the most comfortable kind of realization rhythm for futures. You don’t have to rush to the very front every time, but when it’s time to act, you can’t hesitate.

Once the profit is out, don’t get carried away. Handle it in batches with an 80/20 approach, with the remaining position carrying a protective stop. If you miss it, you miss it—don’t chase, don’t chase a lower entry. Wait for the next time the setup is even more certain at a stronger level.
