When liquidity is thin or conditions are weak, the main forces will first wipe out shorts, then wipe out longs. The real playbook is that the main forces open long positions on the futures first, then open longs at a low level using low leverage. After that, the spot market uses small orders to push the price up! Because the buy orders on the book are relatively sparse, you don’t need too much capital to pull it up. After a modest uptick, they open short positions again, and then the spot market starts hammering the price down.

What is this nonsense—it's been grinding downward for a year and a half, and look who would dare come in. Is this short-term capital just playing among itself? Just to trap your few retail traders?
