The pioneers didn’t realize that this kind of adoption approach we envisioned for Pi over the years can only happen once legal frameworks in the external world clear the way for it.

We didn’t realize it before, but PCT’s vision—along with the community’s wishes—can’t thrive under the current landscape.

I think PCT, like others, believed that the signing target date of the CLARITY ACT—July 4—would be met as scheduled, clearing an ideal path. That’s why they launched a protocol sprint upgrade from v19 to v26. They even set deadlines for each upgrade, with v26 targeted to be completed by the end of June.

However, when they saw the U.S. Senate delaying the CLARITY ACT and realized that signing on July 4 wouldn’t happen, they paused the upgrades—which matches roughly the same period as the CLARITY ACT stalling and damaging the prospects for July 4. In fact, PCT even removed the v26 deadline and replaced it with “pending”; upgrades from v24 to v25 have been stalled for over a month, with zero information updates (most nodes have upgraded to v25, but the blockchain is still stuck at v24).

Clearly, the plan changed. So they continued with the usual “momentum management” using other updates.

Of course, this is just my analysis, and I might be wrong. But I don’t think so. Pi is built in a way that can only happen when legal frameworks make room for it. Pi’s meaning in the world is different from other Layer 1s.

While it may be shocking to see Pi priced at $0.07, I urge all pioneers to keep their eyes locked on the rewards. Especially builders.

The vision is just a tool the project team has been using to paint a rosy picture and brainwash people for years; in actual application, they’ve done a terrible job.

Join a cause and believe it will succeed. If you think he’s a scammer, leave. There’s no need to spread negative comments.

Please take care of the friends who have been shouting their support for the PI cause. Without them, this industry would no longer exist.
