Yesterday’s Review
Yesterday, the BTC watershed was 63,600~63,800; the actual lowest fell to 61,826, so the judgment wasn’t fulfilled. The ETH watershed was 1,790~1,800; the lowest also dropped to 1,750, breaking as well. The altcoins demand a defensive, selective approach rather than chasing—this rhythm has been delivered.
Today’s main judgment is lowered to: “Defend before CPI; intraday rebounds are only weak corrections to watch.”
Today’s overall confirmation re-run time is 09:04 Beijing time.
BTC is about $62,480, down 2.27% in 24 hours; range 61,826~63,994.
ETH is about $1,785, down 2.23% in 24 hours; range 1,750~1,829.
Both bounced from the lows, but BTC on the 4-hour chart is still weak, and ETH has not firmly reclaimed 1,800—so it can’t be directly taken as a turn for the strong.
20:30 Beijing time will release the US June CPI. Today’s main line is still defense before the event—wait for data, then for price, volume, and structure to confirm in sync.
BTC
BTC is about $62,480. On the 1-hour chart, it is slightly below the EMA20 around 62,552 and the 20-hour moving average around 62,512. The MACD histogram turned positive, but it is still below the 50-hour moving average around 63,318. On the 4-hour chart, it is below the EMA20 around 63,225 and the 50-period moving average around 63,360, and MACD momentum remains weak.
On the daily chart, price is holding above the 20-day moving average around 61,943, but it is below the EMA20 around 62,885 and the 50-day moving average around 64,350—this is a weak recovery, not a trend reversal.
For short-term support, look at 61,800~62,100; for strong support, look at 61,000~61,300.
For short-term resistance, look at 62,550~62,900; for strong resistance, look at 63,200~64,000.
Today’s key watershed is 62,550~62,900: only after holding above it will there be a chance to continue testing above 63,200. If it falls back below 61,800, first defend 61,000~61,300.
In terms of execution: don’t chase an intraday sharp spike. Before CPI, don’t go all-in on a single direction—wait for a pullback after a breakout or for confirmation of selling-stoppage at support.
ETH
ETH is about $1,785. On the 1-hour chart, it is above the EMA20 around 1,778, but below the 50-hour moving average around 1,794. The MACD histogram turned positive, so short-term strength is better than BTC. On the 4-hour chart, it is near EMA20 around 1,788 and slightly above the 50-period moving average around 1,779, but MACD momentum is falling back.
On the daily chart, ETH remains above the EMA20 around 1,746 and the 50-day moving average around 1,750, and the recovery structure has not been fully damaged. ETH is relatively a bit stronger, but until 1,800 is reclaimed and closed, you can’t expand altcoin risk.
For short-term support, look at 1,750~1,770; for strong support, look at 1,720~1,735.
For short-term resistance, look at 1,790~1,8005; for strong resistance, look at 1,828~1,846.
Today’s key watershed is 1,790~1,8005: only if it holds steadily with volume and maintains relative strength versus BTC will there be conditions to test above 1,828 again. If it breaks below 1,750, first defend around 1,720.
In execution: wait for structural confirmation, and don’t treat a single fast rebound as proof of going strong.
Altcoin Interlock Judgment
Today’s altcoin interlock read is that ETH is slightly stronger than BTC in the short term, but BTC on the 4-hour chart is still weak, and there’s also CPI later in the evening—so you can’t interpret a local rebound as a full altcoin season.
Only if BTC holds 62,900 and reclaims 63,200, with ETH also holding 1,805 at the same time, can risk appetite be allowed to spread. If BTC breaks 61,800 again or ETH loses 1,750, altcoins should prioritize reducing risk.
Public Version Execution Rules
Today: don’t chase; don’t pre-bet on the CPI direction.
For existing positions, prioritize controlling total risk. If BTC breaks 61,800 or ETH breaks 1,750, reduce risk first. For users with no positions, wait for a pullback confirmation after a pressure breakout, or for strong selling-stoppage signals with volume near strong support.
