Working within the system is just too ridiculous. Today I got a call from a brother department. I helped them solve a problem. After I’d solved it, I found out the issue had nothing to do with us at all—they should have been reporting it to another department. So I asked them why they were trying to report it to me. They said the phone number they had on file was my number. Then I went to talk to our leader and ask whether we should exchange things—because this phone-call reporting process is wrong.
