$GT The 25-year-old Manchester City center-forward Erling Haaland has fully confirmed his status as a star of modern football at the 2026 World Cup with the Norway national team. The “Hammerheads” made it all the way to the quarterfinals, where, before going out, they “drank the blood” of the England national team, and Haaland himself scored 7 goals in 5 matches at the tournament. Erling did not manage to score only at the “Three Lions’” goal, and perhaps that’s exactly why the Norwegians lost, since earlier in each of the four matches in which Haaland’s name went on the scoreboard, the “Hammerheads” had won: 4:1 vs. Iraq, 3:2 vs. Senegal, 2:1 vs. Côte d’Ivoire, and 2:1 vs. Brazil.
