ME News message, July 13 (UTC+8). Michael, Token Pocket’s Chief Business Officer, posted that the mnemonic phrase of Robinhood’s founder was leaked during his live stream. After the hacker obtained control permissions over the address, they used that address and related addresses to massively buy Meme coin $1, triggering thousands of investors to follow in; within a short period, the token’s market cap was rapidly pushed from about $500k to $14 million. After that, the $1 token price dropped sharply, and in just two hours the trading volume reached about $20 million. After the related addresses were frozen, the hacker quickly moved to BNB Chain (BSC), issued a new token using that address and its related addresses, and manufactured trading heat through methods such as self-buying and self-selling, ultimately carrying out a sell-off to cash out. Robinhood’s RPC has frozen the address; nodes do not allow transactions sent from that address to be packaged, so transfers and trading cannot be performed. (Source: ChainCatcher)
