CAIS 2026 will hold an AI agents and data systems symposium

AIMPACT news: On April 25 (UTC+8), a symposium on AI agents and data systems (CAIS 2026) encouraged by Jeff Dean will be held on May 26, 2026 at the ACM AI and Agents Systems Conference in San Jose, California. Core topics include operationalizing agent workloads, optimizing agent semantics, designing data systems for agents, and using agents to optimize the systems themselves. The organizers are from Columbia University, UC Berkeley, Mozilla AI, Databricks, and Bauplan Labs. Confirmed speakers include Andy Pavlo, a professor at CMU, and Aaron Katz, CEO of ClickHouse.
