Australia just had one of its biggest weeks of defence deals

July 6, a mutual defence treaty with Fiji.
July 8, the Pukpuk Treaty with PNG entered into force.
July 9, Modi in Melbourne. A new defence and security declaration with India, an annual defence ministers dialogue, and the arrangements finalised for Australian uranium to start flowing to Delhi.
3 defence agreements in 4 days and add the $20 billion warship deal with Japan in May and the Vanuatu pact last month.
Anyone know what all this is for?
