Cat Brother recently got in touch with his childhood friends back home. When he calls them, it’s always an argument—either they’re already arguing or they’re on the way to arguing 🤣
Actually, it’s just about tutoring for their kids. His wife said:
“Everyone else is tutoring—why shouldn’t we?”
Cat Brother texted back: “They tutor, so do we have to tutor too? When I was a kid, I didn’t tutor anything—I just went out and played every day. And it’s not like I’m worse off now!”
After that, the dispute keeps going on and on.
But Cat Brother feels this might not be an isolated case.
He has seen many families like this:
The mom says she’s afraid the child will suffer later, so tutoring is a must.
The dad is afraid the child is suffering right now, so not tutoring is best—playing more and staying relaxed is best, too, a happy childhood.
So they always end up arguing endlessly.
In fact, it feels like maybe neither side is wrong.
Maybe they’re just thinking about the future—
One person is considering the future,
and the other is considering the present.
If it were you, which side would you think is right—
the mom’s side, or the dad’s side?
