Bitrace monitoring: Stolen funds from Gate clients escaped via a third-party money-laundering group called “Xinbi Guarantee”

Golden Finance reports that on July 11, according to monitoring by the Bitrace team, in the recent Gate client fund loss case, the stolen funds have been confirmed to have escaped through a third-party money-laundering public group operated via “Xinbi Guarantee.” All transactions were recorded by the group’s “reporting bot (Report Bot).” Bitrace Pro shows that the stolen ETH was sold at a price equivalent to about 1,800 USDT. Bitrace noted that the receiving address used by this laundering group is linked to Newpay, a crypto payment tool under “Xinbi Guarantee.” Monitoring shows that since Newpay began operating, it has cumulatively received more than 1.6 billion USDT in funds.
