ME News message, April 25 (UTC+8). Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that after a possible peace agreement between Iran and the United States, Turkey may consider participating in mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz. It is expected that after the US-Iran agreement, a technical team will carry out mine-clearing in the strait. Turkey, in principle, views such actions as a humanitarian responsibility and has a positive attitude. If, in the future, this technical multinational alliance becomes a party to a new round of conflict, Turkey will reassess its position. It believes that issues related to Iran’s nuclear program can be resolved in the next round of talks to be held in Pakistan. (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
