ME AI message, according to Beating monitoring, Musk instructed Tesla employees in an internal memo to switch to Grok when possible. The reason is that Grok 4.5 has lower token costs. He also told engineers to email him directly to report issues. Tesla has just this week capped employees’ budgets for using other AI tools at $200 per person per week, while Grok is not subject to any limit. Over the past few months, Tesla has been internally testing Grok, and Andrew Milich, the head of SpaceXAI’s product, has also been helping troubleshoot problems. Grok 4.5 was co-released this week by SpaceXAI and Cursor, focusing on programming, engineering, and office tasks. The official price is $2 for every million tokens in and $6 for every million tokens out. (Source: MLion)
