On April 25 (UTC+8), Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that after a possible peace agreement between Iran and the United States, Turkey could consider participating in mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz. It is expected that after a US-Iran agreement, a technical team will carry out mine-clearing work in the strait. In principle, Turkey regards such actions as a humanitarian responsibility and is taking a positive stance. If this future technical multinational alliance becomes a party to a new round of conflict, Turkey will reassess its position.
