One of the sources said: “Netanyahu does indeed want to take part in the U.S. strikes, but the U.S. currently does not want Israel to get involved.” However, one of the sources said that the mainstream assessment in Israel is that Trump does not want to return to a full-scale war; at most, he may be willing to take measures such as restoring a maritime blockade of Iranian ports.
