You can’t create a world with no desire, no conflict, and no disappointment, but you can choose: what you serve, what you create, what you love, and what you leave behind. Many people eventually discover that the meaning of life is often not “having more,” but rather: within a limited lifetime, creating something that didn’t exist before and affecting some people’s lives. So making money, starting a business, family, friends, creating, and exploring—essentially, they are all different forms of “engaging with the world.”
