Why do many smart people speak less fluently? Take Elon Musk as an example—he often pauses, thinks, and appears somewhat hesitant. This does not mean he lacks expressive ability, but rather that the speed and volume of his thoughts exceed the speed of his speech output. With too many ideas in his mind, he constantly needs to filter out the key points, organize the logic, and then convert them into language. So the pause is not because he has no ideas, but because he has too many. The deeper the thinking, the slower the speech. What truly matters is not the speed of expression, but the depth of thought.
