[ME AI] News, Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company needs to obtain as much computing power as possible, but in a market where resources required to run and develop AI products are scarce, he is also considering whether renting out some of Meta's AI infrastructure to external enterprises could bring higher value. Zuckerberg said that renting out computing power resources or considering such deals is reasonable. Meta is formulating cloud business plans, which will help the company generate direct revenue through its data centers and other computing collaboration projects. Zuckerberg said, "As long as we want to, there is definitely potential to build a cloud business." Zuckerberg noted that this does not mean Meta has overbuilt or has excess computing power. "I don't know anyone in the industry who thinks they have too much computing power," he said. He added that Meta is currently fully utilizing all its computing resources. (Source: THS)
