AIMPACT News, April 25 (UTC+8), X platform (formerly Twitter)'s independent communication app XChat has officially launched on the App Store. Users can now download, install, and start using it. XChat is currently available on iOS first, with the Android version coming soon.

It is reported that XChat allows users to log in directly by binding their X account, without the need for a phone number or email. It uses end-to-end encryption, so messages are only visible to both parties and the platform cannot read them. It supports disappearing messages and arbitrary file transfers.

In addition, XChat deeply integrates xAI's Grok smart assistant, allowing users to directly summon Grok within the chat interface to ask questions, generate images, and summarize content without switching apps. (Source: AIMPACT)
