Going long or short both lead to death; only swing trading with spot positions guarantees steady wins. It won't be rampant for much longer. The total supply has been changed from 100 billion to 80 billion. Infrastructure construction is basically complete, and ecosystem audits are accelerating. v25 is already running on the mainnet, and v26 is expected to go live around the end of July to early August. Code open-sourcing is just around the corner.

No matter what, shorting isn’t as satisfying as going long, because with shorting, a big whale might suddenly show up and swallow all your chips—leaving nothing, down to the last hair. With going long, you don’t have that worry; you may even get forced to cover (short squeeze). Basically, almost all speculative assets will eventually be forced to cover—you just have to consider the price at which it happens.
