WasabiCard CEO: Clear regulation is an important step for stablecoin payments to move towards mainstream adoption

ME News: On July 9 (UTC+8), it was reported that the U.S. Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act) is expected to enter the next stage of the legislative process on July 4, 2026. As the digital asset regulatory framework continues to improve, market expectations for the development of stablecoin payments have become clearer, providing more explicit policy references for companies to adopt stablecoins for global payments. In response, WasabiCard CEO Ray Yang said: “For enterprises, regulatory transparency is more important than regulatory leniency. Companies can adapt to strict compliance requirements, but it is difficult to formulate long-term development plans in an environment where regulation is unclear.
