Life is like a marathon. When we are young, the focus is on speed—pushing forward with effort, persistence, and continuous accumulation. But after running for a long time, what truly needs to be considered may not just be how to run faster, but whether we are still on a path worth running on. Many people feel exhausted in the second half of life, not because they lack ability, but because they have been consuming themselves in the same environment for too long. Old ways of growth can no longer bring new breakthroughs. At this point, more important than forcing yourself to work even harder is finding a new environment that can nourish you. Changing environments, meeting different people, entering new circles, and gaining fresh information and opportunities essentially recharges your energy. The second half of life is not about continuing to prove how far you can run, but about finding the right track for yourself, turning past accumulation into future possibilities.
