ME News: On July 8 (UTC+8), according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Iran stated that Trump has officially announced that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has come to an end. Therefore, for Iran, continuing to maintain a memorandum that even Trump has officially declared dead is, logically and rationally, wrong. Iran should issue a clear response to Trump. This memorandum was driven forward with utmost effort by Iran’s negotiating representatives, but from the very beginning, we were clear that the Americans would not carry out any agreement—especially when Iran insists on its own rights.
