ME News update/message: April 25 (UTC+8), it was reported that the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto, Przemysław Kral, has gone to Israel. About 99% of the bitcoin reserves on the Zondacrypto platform are suspected to have disappeared. The company stated that the private keys for approximately 4,500 BTC are held by the missing founder Sylwester Suszek. At present, the platform has stopped withdrawals, the management team has been dissolved, and Polish authorities have launched criminal and economic investigations. The actual losses may be far higher than the official estimate of about $100 million (about 350 million Polish zloty). (Source: MLion)
